- COMPTON HOSPICE
- Compton Hospice is not just about end of life care but about helping people to live with their illness. The hospice is a flexible and adaptable style of care and not just a building - care can be provided in a person’s home or via day care - and that care extends to the carers and family. The range of specialist services is provided free of charge to all who need it. We offer the best of modern palliative care along with the sensitivity that epitomises traditional, old fashioned services. Palliative care is holistic care. That is, it encompasses the whole person and their individual needs; emotionally, socially, spiritually as well as physically. The hospice provides support for the whole family. Compton Hospice is only one third funded by local Primary Care Trusts. The remaining two thirds is raised by the communities it serves.
